Thursday 20 May, 2010: New Addition to the Band Website Photo Gallery
Known as 'Pics of The Week' it will include 3 random photographs that will appear in this section for one week then, with the next 3 photos being introduced, the former photos will be transferred to either one of the existing areas ie. City of Newcastle RSL Pipe Band or Past Years. Band Members are invited to check it out.

A great day was had at Stroud, Saturday, 17th July, 2010. The local folk at Stroud really enjoyed the band performances, including the Drummers Salute - both on the field at the Brickthrowing Contest and back at the Stroud Pub.
Viv Swinhoe also entertained the audience at the hotel with his accordion and everyone had a good "sing-a-long".
Patron Sambo made a donation to the band which was very thankfully received. A very successful day indeed.

GALA CHARITY BOWLS & FUN AFTERNOON/EVENING:
On Sunday 26 September, 2010, there will be Gala Charity Bowls & Fun
Afternoon/Evening conducted at the Charlestown Bowling Club, with
proceeds going to support our Band in maintaining Instruments and
Uniforms as well as supporting various charity projects of THE ROTARY
CLUB OF CHARLESTOWN.
This is a request to ALL members and friends of members to attend this
function. WE REALLY NEED EVERYONE.
Whether or not you play Bowls or are attending as a spectator or
supporter, the walk up cost of $20 per person includes Green Fees and
Dinner.
THAT IS CORRECT, ALL ATTENDING ARE ELIGIBLE FOR DINNER.
The Fun Bowls event starts at 1/30 pm sharp - The Set Dinner will
follow from 4/30 pm.
There will be Auctions, Raffles & Prizes.
MEMBERS AND THEIR FAMILY AND FRIENDS OF THE BAND, PLEASE NOTE THIS DATE

EACH PERSON ATTENDING WILL BE A FUNDRAISER AND WILL ALSO ENJOY THE FUN
EVENT.
